Coffee bar

Coffee Bar

Are a coffee or tea fan? Do you have an area set up in your home as a designated coffee bar?

We are big coffee and tea fans here. So we made a coffee bar. Coffee bar essentials include storage for your coffee and tea, access to a plug for the coffee maker, easy mug access and if you love

We started with a marble topped washstand that belonged to my husband’s great grandmother! It’s one of two family pieces we own and we cherish it. You can use any kind of wash stand, small cabinet or buffet. Make it your own to fit your style and budget. Facebook market place is a great resource for finding vintage/antique furniture in ready to use condition and even refurbished furniture that’s move in ready.

The most important part of any coffee bar is storage. We’ve got the cabinet underneath and a drawer with organized tea storage. Consider your coffee supplies. Does your coffee pot take filters? Do you have room in regular cabinets for to go mugs? Are you extra like me and need a frother?

I prefer easy access to my mugs. You can do this with a mug tree or a rack on the wall! We were able to find this awesome shelf/drawer/rack combo a few years back at hobby lobby. It’s perfect for hanging mugs, a little extra storage in the drawers and the shelf always me to decorate.

Recently I’ve done a little rearranging of the decor. I’ve added a new tea tin, an ironstone chocolate pot with utensils and some creamers filled with skeleton keys. I can’t get over how adorable ironstone and restaurant ware creamers are. They are my new favorite item to source and they are perfect for all kinds of decor!

Think about your own tastes when decorating. Could you add a cute and clever sign about coffee? Maybe a faux planter?

Happy Decorating and thanks for stopping by!
