Flue covers were used to cover the chimneys in rooms during the off season when the heat wasn’t used. After the 1950’s they were made to look like paper plates with sweet little scenes.
This one was made in the early 1900’s and still has the chain used to hang. Today it’s perfect for a gallery wall or propping on a brass easel.
Measures 9.5” in diameter
Decorating your home with vintage means you are choosing to decorate with history and charm. It’s also the most sustainable way to decorate. You are keeping old items out of the landfill and saving resources and human labor used in the manufacturing of new home decor.
Each item in my boutique is hand picked by me. I take pride in building collections that are rich with color, history and charm. With Finches and Ferns, you can choose decor both intentionally and sustainably.
