19th century black transferware milk jug or creamer

Antique transferware milk pitcher or creamer with a moody black floral pattern. I love how the floral pattern continues along the inside on the spout.  The piece is unmarked but the particular style of creamer is consistent with those produced in England in the mid 1830's. This particular piece of antique China is stained and has small lines of crazing as well as some mature cracks on the inside.

Measures 6" wide with the handle x 3.5" wide x 4" tall

Decorating your home with vintage and antique home goods means you are choosing to decorate with history and charm. It’s also the most sustainable way to decorate. You are keeping old items out of the landfill and saving resources and human labor used in the manufacturing of new home decor.

Each item in my boutique is hand-picked by me. I take pride in building collections that are rich with color, history and charm. With Finches and Ferns, you can choose decor both intentionally and sustainably.
