Mid 19th century photograph in case

How beautiful is this snapshot of history? This photograph dates to the mid 1800’s. The case is no longer intact, with a split at the seam. The embossed velvet is in wonderful condition and the portrait is stunning. This woman forever immortalized in a print is holding a bouquet of flowers.
