Pair of Vintage Dried Florals in a Round Convex Frame

This pair of frames dates to the 1940’s. They were handmade in the United States by Peter Watson’s studio. The delicate dried florals sit in a gold basket and are covered with a convex frame. Cardboard backing and hanger are intact on both. Did you see the sweet little butterflies in the back?
