Small antique flue cover with portrait of a girl

Small flue cover of a young girl holding forget-me-nots with a deep purple border.  Flue covers were designed to hide the ugly hole on the chimney in a fashionable way.  They often featured portraits of women and later landscapes.  This particular piece is framed in glass with a metal rim.  It's perfect for propping on an easel or add a plate hanger to the cardboard backing and add it to a gallery wall.
