Stoneware Bottle

Perhaps my favorite stoneware bottle to date! Two toned with a drip salt glaze. Rare English “Botanic” bottle.

The labeling for the bottle is embossed. This means it was most likely manufactured before 1890. Bold graphics printed on the bottles arrived after 1890.

This is a true piece of English history and not a reproduction. This item has been dug up from an English Trash Heap (sometimes referred to as a midden) where treasure hunters search for Victorian waste. This piece is in fair condition considering it’s been in the ground for over 100 years.
