This antique footed tureen is a special find. Often hotels, shops and restaurants had tureens with the name of the establishment. Much research was given to finding the origin of this piece but to no avail. The piece was found in Maryland but I can’t be certain it was from there.
The mark on the bottom indicates it was made by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles from 1885-1910.
There is some damage to the handle on the lid. The pattern is a beautiful blue floral and vine pattern. Remarkably there is no staining or crazing.
Add this beautiful heirloom piece to your collection.
11” long by 7” wide and 7” tall
